CERDC Bikaner

Bikaner, a ceramic city of Rajasthan, is emerging as one of the fast growing industrial zone. The city is surrounded by mineral rich areas such as Barmer Jaisalmer Nagour, Available minerals include Gypsum, Clay and fossil fuel (Lignite coal, petroleum) etc.

Therefore there are bright possibilities of further calibration of industrial growth of the entire zone which are further accelerating the industrial land and availability of basic raw material for several mineral-based industries. There are ample of mineral resources in the region. The region has many local fairs, places and monuments of great importance for foreign tourists and will be proved as great pillar for industrial and economic growth to attract industrialists to invest their money. Therefore Ceramic Centre is the need of industry in this region.

The Ceramic Centre Bikaner was renamed as Ceramic Electrical Research &Development Centre (CERDC) Bikaner in year 2010.
